What is home? In many ways it is ephemeral - more than a building, but also more than an idea or emotion. It’s made of places and people and memories and rootedness. Every home has a different personality and feel. These little houses are an exploration of these ideas. These are sculptures, and they are luminaries - made to hold light and shed light - like a good home does for each of us.
Each house is a one of a kind piece, no two are alike. Just like real homes.

Each house is handbuilt from red stoneware clay and has a fitted pedestal to hold a small votive candle.
They are approximately 6” tall, 5.5” wide and 4” deep.
